Time seems to be flying by, 7 weeks today and we will be in deepest cornwall! I must admit, I'm a little nervous but very excited. Plans are in their final stages now, i have fitted the mudguards and got the pannier rack and panniers now (thanks Nat, early birthday pressie!!) so will fit them in a week or 2. We are planning a 70 mile ride at the end of March and will do the ride as if we were on lejog with all the kit that we would take and use and do a dry run
.
Training has been steady for me, Roughly doing about 60 - 70 miles a week with 1 longish ride and 2-3 turbo sessions. My last ride was 42 miles and was very much a ride of 2 halves. The first 21 miles was fantastic, had a tail wind and it was very much the best i have felt on a bike, then i turned for home! The head wind was tough but enjoyed the ride none the less.
On a real positive note note, The mighty Bristol City have won 2 on the bounce and have had their new ground approved.
The gas on the other hand are losers and dont own a ground!
